I wanted to share a song by my band, Calling Out Closer.

A bit about the song’s inspiration:

Hebrews chapter four concludes with the following (referring to Jesus): “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (NKJV).”

The author uses the word “boldly”, not “cautiously”. Because of what Christ has done, because He is the great High Priest, we can approach the very throne of God. If we believe that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sin, we can access the “throne of grace” on a relational level.

Pretty awesome stuff.
